The first born cria to the herd. I missed her birth by about 10 minutes and she was born on her mothers’ birthday. She has had a few babies of her own: Rio, Llanos, Albatross, Seren and River. Skye is a wonderful mother, growing strong, heavily-fleeced babies. Sadly there is never really an improvement in the fineness of her offspring’s fleeces. Skye is the perfect clone of her mother Pep. From a distance it can be hard to tell them apart. They both like standing with their ears back. Skye did well in the show ring and has a dense white fleece. As she ages, her fast-growing, super-strong babies will be a miss. She will let us know if she wants anymore but she is definitely having a year to herself in 2026.
