We were very lucky to come across the Todburn goat herd via their goats milk soaps in our local cafe. After an enquiry and a visit, we were able to visit to meet Peony, we were hooked. To cut a long story short we eventually took home 3 goats and Peony has quickly established herself as the leader of the gang. The reign continues but she polices her subordinates less strictly.

In 2021 she had her baby Ragnar. He was a beautiful boy who we sadly lost unexpectedly in 2022.

In 2023 she had a phantom pregnancy. She came into milk but no babies arrived.

In 2024, she went with her sister for a visit to the Raynebow herd and she met golden Guernsey Basil. In 2025 she gave birth to 2.5 babies! Magnus, a gorgeous dark ginger male, Finn, a pale gold male and Nora, a tiny female who did not look viable. Nora came home and was tube-fed, she was quickly strong enough to return to her mum and to compete with her brothers for milk. The boys found loving homes and Nora remains with the herd.
