The oldest of the gang, she is a very big girl known to weigh up to 101kg. She has had 3 cria (babies) while with the Stony Pasture herd, Skye-lark, Alba and Florian. She has long since retired from breeding but her daughter Skye was the first baby born into our herd. Pep only moves at speeds of slow, stop or sit down. She is very wary of strangers and men. Her role is the herd look out and she alarm calls when she sees any kind of danger (including vi-viz jackets and windswept plastic bags). As she enters into her 18th year, she has few teeth left, has a largely soft-food diet and will continue to be a much loved part of the team.
